The Mani Bhavan Gandhi Sangrahalaya is a quaint building depicting typical Gujarati architecture near the August Kranti or Gowalia Tank Maidan, where Mahatma Gandhi launched his Quit India Movement in 1942. Mahatma Gandhi spends long periods of time here between 1917 to 1934 and the venue saw he conceptualisation of many of his movements including non co-operation, Swadeshi, Khilafat and of course Quit India!
